Refund Policy and Process for Skybookings (Pty) Ltd

I. Refund Policy

At Skybookings (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to providing our customers with a seamless ticketing experience for events. We understand that circumstances may necessitate refund requests, and to ensure fairness and transparency, we have established the following refund policy:

  1. General Refund Eligibility: Tickets purchased through Skybookings (Pty) Ltd are generally refundable, subject to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy and any specific refund policies set by the event organizer.
  2. Refund Request Window: Refund requests will be accepted up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time of the event, as specified by the event organiser. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
  3. Event Cancellation or Rescheduling: In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, ticket holders will be eligible for a full refund, including service fees, unless otherwise specified by the event organizer. Refunds will be processed automatically, and customers will be notified via email.
  4. Non-Refundable Circumstances:
    • No refunds will be issued for tickets that have been used to gain entry to the event or for any tickets labelled as non-refundable by the event organiser.
    • Service fees are generally non-refundable, with exceptions made in cases where the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
    • Tickets bought through third-party resellers or platforms are not eligible for refunds through Skybookings (Pty) Ltd.
  5. Refund Processing Time: Refunds will be processed within 2 business days upon approval. Please allow additional time for the refund to reflect in your account, as processing times may vary depending on your payment method.
  6. Refund Method: Refunds will be issued using the same payment method utilised for the original purchase. If this is not feasible, refunds will be issued via an alternative method as agreed upon by the ticket holder and Skybookings (Pty) Ltd.
  7. Refund fees: All refunds will attract a processing fee of R10 to cover banking and other administrative charges.
  8. Refund Circumstances: Skybookings has two types of packages: Self-service and managed service. If an event is listed under self-service, skybookings can only facilitate that the organiser pays the refund to patrons as ticket sales are paid directly to them. If an event is listed under managed service, skybookings will process the refund according to the refund process below.

II. Refund Process

To request a refund for your event ticket, please follow these steps:

  1. Write an email to support@skybookings.net
  2. Attach a screenshot of your ticket
  3. Use “Refund Request” in the subject of the email

After receiving your email, we will review and process your refund as per the policy above.

Skybookings (Pty) Ltd reserves the right to modify or update this refund policy as necessary. Any such changes will be communicated to our customers via our website and email notifications.
